Bijili K. M is a postgraduate in Political Science from the University of Kerala, Karyavattom Campus, Thiruvananthapuram. She is currently engaged in research on South-South Cooperation, with a particular focus on Indo-African Space Cooperation in Human Security. Her research explores the role of space diplomacy and international collaboration in addressing human security challenges, while examining how partnerships between developing nations can contribute to sustainable development and technological advancement. Her academic interests include international relations, outer space policy, and the maritime politics of the Indo-Pacific region. Through her work, she seeks to understand the growing significance of space cooperation as a tool for strengthening diplomatic relations, fostering innovation, and enhancing human security outcomes across the Global South.
