V. V. Krishna (Venni Venkata Krishna)
V. V. Krishna is a distinguished academic and Professorial Fellow in Science and Technology Policy Studies at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney. He is a globally recognized expert in science policy, innovation systems, and the history and sociology of science and technology, with a focus on developing countries.. Throughout his career, he has held visiting faculty positions at prestigious international institutions, including the National University of Singapore, McGill University in Montreal, and Tsinghua University in Beijing. His research primarily examines the dynamics of scientific communities and innovation systems within the context of development. He currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the highly-regarded international journal Science, Technology and Society. As a Senior Fellow at the Science Policy Institute, Dr. V.V. Krishana is currently engaged in the collaborative project “The Rise of China in the 21st Century,” which explores the role of science, technology, and innovation in China’s development.
