V. V. Krishna (Venni Venkata Krishna)
V. V. Krishna is a distinguished academic and Professorial Fellow in Science and Technology Policy Studies at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney. He is internationally recognized for his contributions to science policy, innovation systems, and the history and sociology of science and technology, particularly in developing countries. Throughout his career, he has held visiting faculty positions at leading institutions including the National University of Singapore, McGill University (Canada), and Tsinghua University (China). His research focuses on the dynamics of scientific communities and innovation systems within developmental contexts. He currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the international journal Science, Technology and Society. At the Science Policy Institute, he is engaged in the collaborative project “The Rise of China in the 21st Century,” examining the role of science, technology, and innovation in China's development.
