Ashika S Prasad is a UGC Junior Research Fellow, currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the Department of Political Science, University of Kerala. Her research delves into the intricate nexus of multilateral export control regimes and missile development, with a particular emphasis on India's stance within the Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR). Holding a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Kerala and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Central University of Kerala, Ashika possesses a strong academic foundation. She previously served as a Research Assistant on projects such as "Global Power Politics and India's Space Programme: Politics, Economics and Law of Space Technology Transfer" at the University of Kerala. She has also been a fellow of the Research Award instituted by the Directorate of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala, working on projects concerning India–Russia Space Cooperation and India–US Defence Trade.
